10 Best Heated Electric Blankets

The Silentnight Dual Control Electric Blanket is a great choice for couples who want personalized warmth, thanks to its dual control feature allowing each side to be set independently. It measures about 150 x 137 cm, fitting a double bed comfortably without hanging over the edges, which also helps keep it safely in place. Made from soft fleece, it feels cozy and warm, making it ideal for chilly nights. You get three heat settings to choose from, so you can easily find a temperature that suits you.

Safety is well covered with features like an auto shut-off and special channels that keep the wires secure and evenly spread heat, reducing any risk of tangling or hot spots. Plus, it's energy-efficient, costing as little as 1p per hour to use. The blanket also includes easy-fit elastic straps to attach it to your mattress, so it stays put through the night. When it needs cleaning, you can machine wash it after removing the cable, which is convenient for keeping it fresh. One small downside is that, like most electric blankets, it’s recommended to turn it off before sleeping and avoid using the highest setting constantly to extend its life and ensure safety.

With a strong customer rating of 4.4 out of 5 and a two-year warranty, this blanket combines comfort, safety, and practical features, making it a reliable and easy-to-use heated blanket option.

The Silentnight Electric Blanket King Bed is a solid choice for anyone needing a warm, king-size heated blanket. Its size (135 x 165 cm) fits most king beds nicely and the soft polyester fleece material feels cozy without being too heavy. You get three heat settings with quick warm-up, so it’s easy to find a comfy temperature fast. Safety is taken seriously here with overheat protection, which adds peace of mind, though like most electric blankets, it’s best turned off before sleeping and the highest heat shouldn’t be used constantly.

The blanket secures well with easy-fit straps that keep it flat and in place, helping avoid any bunching that can be unsafe. It’s machine washable and even tumble dry safe, making cleaning simple. While there’s no mention of dual controls (which some king-size blankets offer to let two people set different temperatures), this model focuses on straightforward comfort control. Cost-wise, it’s affordable to run, costing just pennies to use.

This electric blanket is a warm, safe, and user-friendly option ideal for home use during colder months, especially if you want an easy-to-maintain blanket without extra advanced features.
